Stalco served as general contractor for the extensive restoration and renovation of the landmark Pier A building in Manhattan’s Battery Park area. Built in 1886, Pier A is the oldest surviving pier in New York City. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Historic American Engineering Record. The project is aiming at a LEED Silver certification.
