Cost: $19 million

Stalco served as general contractor for the new, three-story academic structure occupied by 500 students and faculty members. The building has received a LEED Silver certification and features a striking, modern, charcoal and ivory-colored façade, expansive glass curtain wall, and a high number of environmentally responsible design and engineering solutions. The school’s energy efficiency exceeds the state requirements by 30%.

SUNY College of Optometry

Cost: $1.86 million

Stalco served as general contractor for a phased renovation and upgrade of research laboratories, medical facilities, and offices at the SUNY College of Optometry in Manhattan. The laboratories are located within a 300,000-sq.-ft., 18-story main college building situated in a very high-traffic Times Square area.

East Setauket and Stony Brook, NY

Three Village Ward Melville High School

Cost: $30 million

Stalco is currently serving as general contractor for the extensive capital improvement program that encompasses ground-up additions and renovations at the Ward Melville High School and renovations at three elementary schools within the Three Village Central School District.

Springs School Expansion and Renovation



Client: Union Free School District

Architect: BBS Architects, Landscape Architects and Engineers

Size: 48,900 s/f 

Cost: $9.2 million

Stalco served as general contractor for the expansion, renovation, and functional redevelopment of the Springs School, which serves over 700 students in grades from K to 8th. The expansion has doubled the size of the school complex. Stalco also renovated a 1,600-s.f. storage building.
