Alan Nahmias
President
Alan Nahmias is Stalco’s Co-Founder and President. He has managed the firm’s operations since 1992, and is in charge of all field operations and construction personnel, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and quality, and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, and other consultants.
Alan is a Co-Founder of Contractors For Kids, a non-profit focused on supporting seriously ill children and their families.
Alan’s experience encompasses serving as project executive for commercial, institutional, educational, and transportation construction projects with a total value exceeding $300 million. |

Kevin G. Harney
Principal & CFO
Kevin G. Harney, Co-founder, Principal, and CFO of Stalco Construction, has led the firm since its founding in 1992. He oversees Stalco’s daily operations, bids, and marketing. Kevin manages the company with a deep concern for its clients, employees, and community, and ensures that Stalco is one of the most family-friendly construction organizations in the nation. He is also a Co-founder of Contractors For Kids, a non-profit supporting seriously ill children and their families.
Kevin’s experience spans nearly 30 years in the construction industry and encompasses managing projects ranging from high-end retail facilities to $100-million high-rise developments in Manhattan. Kevin is a member of the American Concrete Institute and Professional Construction Estimators Association. |

Bess Celsa, CPA
Controller

Bess Celsa joined Stalco as Controller in 2008. She manages all financial reporting for the company and implemented the firm’s new accounting and project management system. Bess streamlined Stalco’s accounting activities and instituted detailed weekly reports that allow the management to monitor the financial aspects of all operations.
Bess holds a double Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting and Economics from CUNY Queens College. Her experience includes senior management, finance, and accounting positions at Kulka Contracting, MS Steel, Garsite Products, and Harcourt Brace Jovanovich.

Bruce Link
Senior Estimator

Bruce Link joined Stalco in 2005. He heads the firm’s estimating department, responsible for development of price bids, value engineering analysis, assessment of alternative materials and equipment, evaluation of subcontractor bids, scheduling and coordination, and review of change order submissions.
Bruce’s nearly 40-year construction career includes project management and estimating positions at leading regional contracting firms, including M. H. Kane Construction and Pav-Lak Contracting. He is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council and American Society of Professional Estimators. |

P. Brian Sheahan
Project Manager
Brian Sheahan joined Stalco in 2001. His expertise encompasses all aspects of the project management process, including planning and logistics, purchasing, negotiations, operations, site management, and value engineering. Brian serves as Stalco’s Director of Safety and OSHA trainer.
Brian’s career spans more than 30 years and encompasses construction projects valued in excess of $500 million. These include over $100 million worth of school construction undertakings as well as high-rise buildings, hospitality and retail projects, and industrial facilities. He has held senior project management positions at Turner Construction, The Parr Organization, Ferran Construction, E. W. Howell, and NICO Construction. |

Joseph M. Serpe

As Vice President, Joseph Serpe manages all construction operations of the company and provides executive-level management for the firm’s most challenging assignments, particularly those involving phased construction, large project teams, complex logistics, and LEED certifications.
His recent projects include the $30-million expansion and renovation program for the Three Village School District in East Setauket, NY; the $15-million, LEED Silver-targeted renovation of the landmark Pier A in Manhattan; the 60,000-square-foot Battery Park City Community Center in New York City, which aims at LEED Platinum rating; and the $16-million Long Beach High School expansion in Long beach, NY.
Serpe is a member of the USGBC United States Green Building Council Long Island chapter and holds a certificate in project management.

Jennifer AG Rennie

As a Stalco Project Manager since 2007, Jennifer manages construction of selected ground-up, base building, and interior projects. She also supervises the firm's "back-of-the-house" operations, project close-out procedures, and the IT system. Jennifer's recent work includes interior renovations at CA, Inc. Global Headquarters in Islandia, NY and a five-story addition to Intermediary School 201 in Brooklyn.
Jennifer attended Purdue University civil engineering school and holds an Architectural Engineering degree from Suffolk Community College. She currently serves as Vice President of NAWIC National Association of Women in Construction NYC and Long Island Chapter 240. Her experience includes senior project management positions at LGB Development, Candor Construction, and NYS DOT.

Joseph Solloch

Solloch's responsibilities encompass management of all pre-construction and construction activities. His projects at Stalco include the $5.6-million renovation of the SUNY Downstate Medical Center's food service facilities in Brooklyn, NY and renovations of Shelter Rock and Patchogue-Medford Library public libraries.
Prior to joining Stalco, Joe served as project architect and project manager at Baldassano Architecture, William F. Collins, AIA, and Theatrical Services & Supplies, Inc. His experience spans mission critical/technology, office, retail, entertainment, education, and public projects. Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in architecture from New York Institute of Technology in Westbury, NY. |

Carol Donato
Office Manager & Contract Administrator

Carol Donato joined the firm in 2002. As Stalco’s office manager, she is responsible for all administrative operations and the group health insurance. In the contract administrator’s capacity, Carol coordinates preparation of all bid documents, bonds and insurance, purchase order management, and overall project administration.
Carol has nearly 25 years of experience in various positions in the construction industry. She holds an Associates degree in Office Management. |

Scott Pavick

Scott Pavick joined the firm in 2003 and leads Stalco’s estimating department. He manages all estimating activities and is responsible for developing cost estimates and budgets, value engineering, and subcontractor bid evaluation and negotiations. He also heads Stalco’s pre-engineered building division, Stalco International Group, which develops pre-engineered structures in collaboration with Varco Pruden Buildings. As a trained architect, he possesses an in-depth understanding of both design and construction issues.
His experience encompasses design work for Stalco headquarters and the pre-engineered Florence Building Supply warehouse in Farmingdale, NY as well as project management of the $10-million Kings Park High School and the LEED Silver-certified Tanner Park Pavilion in Babylon, NY. He worked in design and project management positions at School Construction Consultants and JMB Architecture.
Scott holds a BS in Architecture from New York Institute of Technology and certification from the American Society of Professional Estimators. He completed the AGC 2009 Future Construction Leaders program.

Geoffrey Schwartz joined Stalco in 2009. He specializes in managing new construction and renovation projects involving LEED certification, large labor teams and landmark properties.
Geoffrey’s experience encompasses a wide range of projects, ranging from luxury condominium and office buildings to schools and historic buildings. These include the Intermediary School 117 science rooms renovation in Brooklyn, NY and a new 900,000-square foot residential high-rise complex in Manhattan. He holds a High Honor BS in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, received a LEED AP accreditation, and is a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society. |

Nicole Tassone has held the position of assistant project manager since 2008. She assists project managers in the overall administration of projects, including document flow, communications with owners and other team members, maintaining insurance and tax exemption records, and tracking the site labor force.
Nicole’s experience encompasses accounting and financial positions at several construction-related firms on Long Island and in Florida, including Nelson & Pope Engineers & Surveyors and P.G.I. Homes. She holds an Associate Degree in Liberal Arts from Nassau Community College. |

As Director of Marketing & Business Development, Lauren Mancuso is responsible for new business development, increasing Stalco’s brand recognition in both public and private sectors, developing and implementing marketing strategies, maintaining client relationships, producing proposals, and internal communications.
Lauren is a Cum Laude graduate of York College of Pennsylvania with a BA degree in Public Relations. Her prior experience includes marketing and public relations positions and internships with several established and start-up firms, including York Educational Federal Credit Union. Mancuso is a Member of Ms Moxxie Advisory Board, inductee into National Communications Honor Society, and member of Public Relations Student Society of America. |

Richard Esposito

Richard joined Stalco in 2010, following 25 years of work as owner/operator of construction companies and project manager for a wide range of building projects. As estimator, he is responsible for developing cost take-offs for all trades, negotiations with subcontractors, bid package preparation, and value engineering analysis.
Richard's experience includes operating two firms he owned, RJE Contracting and Island Contracting and Design, as well as positions of project manager and superintendent at NRI Construction and Conor Construction Consultant. . |
