McLean Associates, P.C. Size: 4,200 s.f. Cost: $1.3 million Stalco served as general contractor for the Springs Youth Center, a venue for after-school programs and other children’s activities,. The center serves the towns of Springs and East Hampton. The project encompassed excavation and construction of concrete wall and slab foundations, timber frame and insulated structural panel base building, all interior finishes, and MEP systems. The first floor houses the Great Room that serves as the community activities and events venue, offices, and kitchen. Storage and mechanical rooms are located in the basement. The gable roof features asphalt shingle surface. The interior finishes include hardwood and VCT flooring, Tectum ceiling boards above the exposed timber roof structure, drywall walls, cabinetry, and millwork.
